Born and raised in Southern Arizona on the border of Mexico, I attended the University of Arizona obtaining a degree in Biology and taking classes in machine code and Fortran. Later I attended the University of Maryland for classes in advanced physiology as well as business where I learned the Basic computer language. Still later I obtained a MBA from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Md. obtaining even more proficiency in DOS and the emerging personal computer field. I worked for years as the general manager for a small family-owned distributor of fasteners, electrical parts and hydraulic assemblies which serviced manufacturers and heavy-duty applications in the construction and trucking industries. During that time, I was not only manager and provided sales support, but also used and created software applications for the business and provided basic computer hardware setup, maintenance and repair.
After that business was forced to close due to the death of the owner, I took several part-time positions at different times and enrolled at Hagerstown Community College in the web development program. In addition, I have voluntarily processed videos and posted them on the internet for one church, and, for another church, provided audio/video services and PowerPoint presentations for their Contemporary service.
Reading, fishing, woodworking, photography, music, landscaping, sign language and my church in addition to those activities with my children and wife have all provided relaxation and inspiration.
